Content &
proof rules.
Campaigns must be lawful, consensual and safe. Proof must show what actually happened without exposing people or locations unnecessarily.
1. Prohibited advertising
Adverlot does not allow campaigns that advertise, promote or facilitate:
- illegal goods, services or conduct;
- fraud, impersonation, deceptive financial schemes or materially false claims;
- weapons, trafficking, sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual content;
- hate, dehumanisation, harassment, threats or incitement to violence;
- dangerous drugs or controlled substances sold unlawfully;
- malware, credential theft or circumvention of security;
- content exploiting or sexualising minors;
- communist, fascist, Nazi or other totalitarian propaganda, symbols or glorification;
- content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights.
Regulated categories such as alcohol, gambling, medicine, financial products, political or issue advertising may be rejected or require prior written approval, targeting restrictions, licences and legally required disclosures.
2. Places and conduct
- The host must own the surface or have permission from the owner and any relevant venue or authority.
- No trespass, illegal fly-posting, obstruction, property damage or unauthorised modification.
- Vehicle campaigns must not obstruct visibility, registration, lights or safe operation.
- Wearable campaigns may not require harassment, confrontation, discriminatory conduct or entry into restricted places.
- Do not photograph bystanders as the main subject without permission. Blur faces or identifiers when reasonably necessary.
3. Creative approval
The advertiser must provide the final creative and truthful product claims before the host accepts production. The host must check that the creative fits the agreed surface and may reject content that creates legal, safety or reputational risk. Any material creative change requires renewed approval in the campaign record.
4. Required proof
The booking may require start, periodic and final proof. Unless the booking says otherwise, useful proof clearly shows:
- the agreed surface with the full placement visible;
- enough surroundings to verify the agreed area or route without exposing a private address;
- capture date and time, with location metadata when requested and safe;
- the condition and legibility of the creative;
- continued placement for periodic proof and removal or completion for final proof.
5. Proof integrity
Proof must be recent, original and from the booked campaign. Do not reuse old files, stage a brief placement solely for a photo, alter metadata, composite creative onto a surface, or use generative AI to fabricate performance. Ordinary cropping, exposure correction and face or plate blurring are allowed only when they do not misrepresent delivery.
6. Review and enforcement
Adverlot may request original files, additional angles or other reasonable corroboration. We may remove content, pause a campaign, withhold payout during review, refund an advertiser, restrict a listing or suspend an account. Serious safety, exploitation or fraud concerns may be reported to appropriate authorities.
7. Reporting
Use private support and choose “Safety or content”. Mark urgent where there is immediate danger, harassment or prohibited content. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
